Seed paper, sometimes also called growing paper, is a sustainable, ecological and nature-friendly type of paper. The seed paper is produced from biodegradable paper with flower seeds added in between, which give the paper a natural structure. After using the envelope and/or card, you can put it in the ground and watch as beautiful flowers will sprout. Seed paper is a new original product that is becoming increasingly popular for mailings to convey a clear message. Have your seed paper envelopes and cards printed with your logo, corporate identity or a specific promotion and leave behind a “blooming” memento. The possibilities for using seed paper are endless! How nice would it be to use seed paper for a birth announcement, wedding card or thank you card? We offer 4 single card sizes, 2 double card sizes and 3 matching envelope sizes. Seed paper envelopes and cards can be printed single- or double-sided in full colour using water-based ink.

Seed paper envelopes or cards characteristics:

Planting instructions:

The seeds are placed between layers of biodegradable paper. Make sure the soil is loose and even. Lay the seed paper on the soil. Spray it with water until the seed paper is completely soaked. Then cover it with a thin layer of soil (maximum 5 mm) and keep it moist until germination. Water the plants and wait for the flowers to bloom.

Do you need to print envelopes or packaging with your logo, corporate identity or for a direct mailing? At PIT Packaging you have the option to custom print even small quantities of envelopes. From 100 pieces and up, you can have your envelopes printed with your own logo or design.

If you have the right software to create print files, choose 'upload your print file later'. After going through the steps, a button with 'Template' will appear under the shopping basketbutton. This working drawing or blueprint is always based on the actual dimensions of the chosen product. You can use this as a basis for your own design software. Even if you have chosen 'Address', an .xls template will appear so that you know how to build up the address list. You can download the detailed instructions with additional explanation about these options via the 'Delivery instructions' button.

If you don't have any graphics software, you can use our online editor. You can directly create a design online by adding your image and/or text to the chosen product. You can create your own design easily and without errors with our online editor. After you have made the design, you place the order and we ensure the correct execution.
